The stimuli that start your brain into action are of two sorts: one is AUTOSUGGESTION and the other is SUGGESTION. You can select the material out of which you're thinking is produced and that is autosuggestion or self-suggestion.

You can permit others to select the material out of which your thinking is produced and that is suggestion. It is a humiliating fact that most thought is produced by the outside suggestions of others and it is more humiliating still to have to admit that the majority of us except this suggestion without either examining it or questioning its soundness.

We read the daily paper as though every word were based upon fact. We are swayed by the gossip and idle chatter of others as though every word were true. Thought is the only thing over which you have absolute control yet unless you are the proverbial exception, which is about 1 out of every 10000, you permit other people to enter the sacred mansion of your mind and there deposit through suggestion, their troubles and woes, adversities and falsehoods just as though you did not have the power to close the door and keep them out.

You have within your control the power to select the material that constitutes the dominating thoughts of your mind. And just as surely as you are reading these lines, those thoughts which dominate your mind will bring you success or failure, according to their nature. The fact that thought is the only thing over which you have absolute control is within itself of most profound significance as it strongly suggests that thought is your nearest approach to divinity on this earthly plane.

Self Control is sole a matter of thought control.

The man who exercises complete self control cannot be permanently defeated as Emerson has so well stated on his essay on compensation, for the reason that obstacles and opposition have a way of melting away when confronted by the determined mind that is guided to a definite end with complete self control.

-Excerpt from Law of Success Disc 3 (8) Napoleon Hill

Self-Control is solely a matter of Thought-Control

A person with well-developed self-control does not indulge in hatred, envy, jealousy, fear, revenge or any similar destructive emotion. A person with well-developed self-control does not go into ecstasies or become ungovernable enthusiastic over anything or anybody.

Greed and selfishness and self approval beyond the point of accurate self-analysis and appreciation of one's actual merits indicate lack of self-control in one of its most dangerous forms. Self-confidence is one of the most important essentials of success but when this faculties developed beyond the point of reason it becomes very dangerous. Self-sacrifice is a commendable quality but when it is carried to extremes, it also becomes one of the dangerous forms of lack of self-control.

You owe it to yourself not to permit your emotions to place your happiness in the keeping of another person. Love is essential for happiness but the person who loves so deeply that his or her happiness is placed entirely in the hands of another resembles the little lamb who crept into the den of the nice gentle little wolf and begged to be permitted to lie down and go to sleep or the canary bird that persisted in playing with the cats whiskers.

-Excerpt from Law of Success Disc 3 (8) Napoleon Hill

Psycho-Cybernetics (Session 1)

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 265px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-5pcngsKXPsM/TvaYJQ6v9oI/AAAAAAAAAGI/WwsQhWuVyuA/s400/Screen%2Bshot%2B2011-12-24%2Bat%2B10.18.40%2BPM.png" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5689902464156825218" />

Ralph Waldo Emerson

"To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. If you will talk to them you will observe that they have built up a false philosophy somewhat of this nature:

"I am doing all I am paid to do, and I am getting by."

Yes they are "getting by" - but that is all they are getting.

Some years ago, at a time when labor was scarce and wages unusually high, I observed scores of able-bodied men lying about in the parks of Chicago, doing nothing. I became curious to know what sort of an alibi they would offer for their conduct, so I went out one afternoon and interviewed seven of them.

With the aid of a generous supply of cigars and cigarettes and a little loose change I bought myself into the confidence of those whom I interviewed and thereby gained a rather intimate view of their philosophy. All gave exactly the same reason for being there, without employment. They said: "The world will not give me a chance!!!"

Think of it - the world would not "give them a chance."

Of course the world wouldn't give them a chance.

It never gives anyone a chance. A man who wants a chance may create it through action, but if he waits for someone to hand it to him on a silver platter he will meet with disappointment.

I fear that this excuse that the world does not give a man a chance is quite prevalent, and I strongly suspect that it is one of the commonest causes of poverty and failure.

My Way Of Living

[Some individuals have asked me to put up my "rules" that I follow on a day to day basis. Some people are more educationally privileged than others. But we all have the capacity to be great. Greatness comes by recognizing that your potential is limited only by how you choose, how you use your freedom, how resolute you are, how persistent you are - in short, by your attitude. And we are all free to choose our attitude. - Peter Koestenbaum

The choices that have determined the thoughts that you've habitually thought, the people you've surrounded yourself with, the books you've read, and the actions you've taken have shaped you and defined your life. You've created the life you see before your eyes - no one else has.

We have forty million reasons for failure, but not a single excuse. - Rudyard Kipling

When you blame the status of your life on other people and things, you're really saying that they've shaped your destiny and are the cause of your current conditions.

Circumstances don't define a person, they reveal a person.

Now is the time to raise your standards about what it means to be a person, to show the world who you really are. And if not now, when?

I'd always put off doing the things I needed to do to be truly successful in the world until a later date. I'd tell myself that I'd go the extra mile and become a star at work when I had more time. I'd rebuild my relationship once I got promoted. I'd improve my life when I made more money.
But that thinking didn't work for me anymore - it didn't suit my new state of awareness. I really needed to take my life to its highest level. Not next year. Not next month. Not next week. Now.

The wise man always does at once what the fool does at finally. - Baltasar Gracian

If we don't take charge of our lives and act on them, our lives have a way of acting on us.

Elite performance in career and in life is all about the promotion of personal accountability. It's about keeping the pledges you've made to yourself.

Greatness as a person is mostly about saying what we'll do as people, and then doing what we said we would. This is simple stuff, yet most of us have forgotten it in this crazy world we live in.

The best leaders expose their weaknesses - they're real and people love them for it.

Did you know that recent scientific evidence has show that the electromagnetic field created by the human heart is actually 5,000 times more powerful than the one created by the human mind?
Think about it...

You can talk the talk all you want, but unless you're genuinely devoted to helping your clients and making their lives better, they won't do business with you - they'll sense that you're not genuine. Success in business comes down to trust. People need to trust that you want to help them. If the trust is there, your services will sell themselves.

Trust is key.

Maintain a trust account with every person in your life. Whenever you interact with someone, you're either making deposits into that account or withdrawing from it.

I honor the best and highest within you.

Life is short. Do not forget about the most important things in life, living for other people and doing good for them.

You can get everything you want out of life when you focus on helping those around you get everything they want out of life.

A great life is nothing more than a series of great conversations. Business success comes from having thoughtful conversations with our teammates, customers, and prospects. If we stop engaging in these conversations, we lose the business. Family success comes from having meaningful conversations with out mates and among our children. Lose these conversations, and we lose the family. And inner success - success as a human being - involves, in many ways, nothing more than a continual conversation and connection with your highest self. Lose that conversation, and you lose yourself.

The more awaken, the more you'll realize that success is all about making a difference in the world.

The elite performers in life spend their time centered on creating and building value rather than on making money. They seek out ways to enrich others, and they live to improve the lot of those who have the privilege of doing business with them. They take themselves out of the equation and exist, in many ways, for others. The irony is that they're the ones who become the most successful and wealthy.

To have more in the world, you must give more to others. It's just one of those timeless laws of life.

Life's most persistent and urgent question is what are you doing for others? - Martin Luther King, Jr.

Elite performers in business make a lot of time to reflect. And one of the things they think about the most is how they can add more value to the people they serve.

The purpose of life isn't to be happy. That's one of the most self-centered ways of living that one could imagine, and it's the source of so many problems in the world today. This global community would change if we'd stop thinking about our individual happiness and start to think about our collective service. In other words, the world would change if we began to become consumed, not with being happier, but with being more valuable.

Stop wishing that life were easier and wish that you were better, more caring, and more kind. Stop wishing for fewer problems and wish for greater wisdom. You see, happiness is a by-product, and it comes to those who don't seek it.
It's a paradox, isn't it?

The best thing you can do to help the poor of this world is to ensure that you're not one of them.

Giving with the intention of receiving really isn't giving, it's trading - and people can sense that. Give to genuinely help, and act like a servant leader. That's how you'll grow to greatness.

I expect to pass through life but once. If, therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now, and not defer or neglect it, as I shall not pass this way again. - William Penn

You will be happy in your life in direct proportion to the degree to which you will be helpful to the world.

Death is not the greatest loss of life. The greatest loss is what dies inside us while we live. - Norman Cousins

The true reward of a well-lived life doesn't lie in what you get at the end of your path, but what you become once you get there.

We think it takes a lot of energy to do the inner work required to live our best lives, both at work and at home - the reality is that it takes far more energy to stay mediocre.

A wise human being blends compassion with courage.

People make the mistake of believing that to be loving means you have to give in to people and let them walk all over you. That's just not the case. I love myself too much to ever let that happen. If someone crosses the boundary with me, I let them know it in a compassionate yet powerful way. I speak in a way that doesn't sting them but lets them know that I won't be mistreated. And so, I blend compassion with courage.

For you to win, no one needs to lose.

We just need to get out of our own way.

What's of greatest value to me is my reputation. It never ceases to amaze me how people will work for decades to build a good name, then do something silly, and in a matter of moments, lose their reputation. In doing so, they lose their ability to conduct business in so many ways. You see, you can't put a price tag on getting your phone calls returned. Cherish your good name. Never do anything that would put a stain on your reputation. Live and work with a great deal of integrity.

The Law of Diminishing Intent hold that the more time that passes after you've set a goal, the less likely you are to breathe life into it and make it happen. When we initially set a goal, we tend to be full of excitement and hope about the future possibilities. But as the days pass, life gets in the way, as do our limiting beliefs. Our inner critic begins its work and offers up an array of excuses as to why this goal will never come to fruition. The more time passes, the more we get distracted by the urgent issues we have to deal with - soon the dream dies a quick death. Just imagine if you acted on even 5 percent of the brilliant ideas you've had over the course of your life, not only for success in your career but for success in your life.

I've always believed that elite performers never leave the site of a new idea without taking some action to advance it. So to prevent The Law of Diminishing Intent from strangling the desires of your heart, you must build an accountability structure into the process I'm sharing with you.

Set up a mastermind group!

What's not measure will never be mastered.

One of the primary reasons we lose our inspiration and passion for making our goals happen is because we spend more time focusing on what's not working rather than on what is.

Live your life each day as if you would climb mountains. An occasional glance toward the summit puts the goal in mind. Many beautiful scenes can be observed from each new vantage point. Climb steadily, slowly, enjoy each passing moment; and the view from the summit will serve as a fitting climax to the journey. - Harold Melchert

Speak about your intentions and desires often. Declare them to the world. Tell your family and friends about what you want to have, do, and be. The more you talk about what you want, the more you'll have what you want.
Why? Because the more you talk about your heart's desires, the higher they'll move into your awareness. You'll begin to see opportunities that were previously invisible. You'll form new connections in your mind and view the possibilities of your life from the highest vantage point.

There is nothing so useless as doing efficiently that which should not be done at all. - Peter Drucker

Grow into greatness.

[Robin Sharma]

The River Runs through it.

Dear ,

As the moon lingers a moment over the bitterroots, before its descent into the invisible, my mind is filled with song, not to the music but something else, some place else. I'm dedicated to living in a state of continuous grace. I try to stay completely present to everything that unfolds for me. The past is over - long gone. So my philosophy works like this: I never let my yesterdays take up much of my todays.

The future? The future isn't real, man. It's just an illusion as far as I'm concerned. The only thing that I really focus on is the enchantment of each minute. I live in the flow and take things as they come. I follow my heart. And I love it!

"Normal day, let me be aware of the treasure you are. Let me not pass you by in quest of some rare and perfect tomorrow. One day I shall dig my nails into the earth, or bury my face in my pillow or stretch myself taut or raise my hands to the sky and want, more than all the world, your return." - Mary Jean Iron

We all have a stained glass window we view the world through. My whole stained glass window is transforming, so to speak.

You're getting out of your head and moving into your heart, which is where all your answers live. Living in your head is playing it safe with your life. You try to figure things out. You plan and worry and fret about your past, your present, and your future. You spend so much time analyzing what could be and what would be that you miss out on living the life that you need to live. The ideal way to learn from life is to be present to every moment presented to you - and you can't do that if you're caught up in your thoughts.

"Without a rich heart, wealth is an ugly beggar" - Emerson

No matter how much we collect, nothing-nothing-can ever make up for any incompleteness we feel within ourselves. As human beings, we all have these holes within us that crave to be filled. Some of us have holes created by parents who didn't care for our emotional needs as children; others of us have holes created by uncaring schoolmates who couldn't see our true worth. Still others of us have holes created by educators who taught us that we were never good enough, no matter how much we achieved. And as we grow into adults, we unconsciously look for other people and things to fill our holes - to complete us. And when they don't, we move on in search of the next solution. It's an endless pursuit, and it empties us - as human beings-of our inner peace.
Go within.

"No pessimist ever discovered the secrets of the stars, or sailed to an uncharted land, or opened a new heaven to the human spirit" - Helen Keller

When you see things from a higher perspective, you can see that seemingly unrelated things are actually related. And to me, that's a miracle.

The key is to trust.

Stop living in your head, you've tried that method of operating your whole life, and where has it gotten you.

Yes, his approach was unconventional. But if we all only lived according to the conventional thinking of the masses, our society would have remained in the Dark Ages. It's only due to the novel and bold thinking of the visionaries of our world that any progress has been made.

"That it will never come again is what makes life so sweet." - Emily Dickinson

"Life is too short to be little" - Benjamin Disraeli

Life is a beach in so many ways. It reflects a journey that has its sandy parts as well as its rocky areas, and it has its curves and its straightaways. Sometimes you see the crashing waves when you wake up in the morning and feel the fury of the ocean; other times there's a blissful calm and not a thing stirs.

It never ceases to amaze me how the brightness of the dawn always comes immediately after the darkest part of the night. Each and every one of us has to endure darkness - but it always passes, and the light always returns.

Acceptance is the key here.

But feel those fears, and then do it anyway. Just stand with your fears and let them wash through you. Eventually they'll pass. For your life to be great, your faith must be bigger than your fears.

Stop trying to analyze every event as good or bad and just experience it. That's the path to mastery: detachment from outcomes.

Stop trying so hard to get what you want in life. That's one of the paradoxes of the world: Those things that you run toward will run away from you. The more you stop worrying about the way your life should turn out, the more your life will turn out just fine.

Your life, my life, every life is so beautiful. We just fail to make the time to take that in. That's why it's so important to slow down. Why are you always rushing? Where are you running to?

Life is a great mystery novel that contains the story of your life. What fun would it be if you knew how it all unfolded and how it ended before you got to the final chapter?

Pay more attention to the way you treat people. Spend more time focusing on their strengths rather than noticing their weaknesses, man.

To breathe properly is to live properly.

The easiest things to do are also the things that are easiest not to do.

"Real love begins where nothing is expected in return." - Antoine de Saint-Exupery

Please, remember that the hand that gives is the hand that gathers.

You know that forgiving is something you do for yourself, don't you?

"Forgiveness is the fragrance the violet sheds on the heel that crushed it." - Mark Twain

Forgiveness isn't about condoning what someone did to you in the past - it's about accepting it and realizing that they only hurt you because they were in some form of fear.

"God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the thing I can, and wisdom to know the difference." - Serenity Prayer

"Before you set out to seek revenge, it is best you dig two graves." - Confucius

And by appreciating what's good in your lives, those good things will grow. Think in terms of economics: When something appreciates in value, what happens to it? It becomes worth more.

"It is only when we forget all our learning that we begin to know" - Henry David Thoreau

I don't want to get too technical here, but we live in what physicist have called a holographic universe, which means that what we send out comes back in kind.

"I will not let anyone walk through my mind with their dirty feet" - Mahatma Gandhi

Once you've completed a feeling to its endpoint, which every feeling has, then there's certainly nothing wrong with looking for the good in the circumstances. Actually, that's the only smart thing to do.

Out-picturing. The internal will always become the external because all things are created twice: first in the mind and then in reality.

A mistake is only a mistake if you repeat it.

A life without setbacks is a shallow life. To fully experience your life, you must experience the highs as well as the lows- then you'll know what being alive is really about. Pain isn't such a bad thing, you know. Actually, I believe that pain comes to us to raise our lives to the next level.

"Adversity is the diamond dust Heaven polishes its jewels with." - Thomas Carlyle

"The beauty of the soul shines out when a man bears with composure one heavy mischance after another, not because he does not feel them but because he is a man of high and heroic temper." - Aristotle

"I have discovered that all the unhappiness of men arises from one single fact, that they cannot stay quietly in their chamber." - Blaise Pascal

"Those who don't make time for exercise must eventually make times for illness, you know.

Thanks for being great.

[Robin Sharma]

Temporary Interlude

The Warmth
I'd like to close my eyes, go numb
but there's a cold wind coming from
the topp of the highest high-rise todayyy.
It's not a breeze 'cause it blows hard...
Yes and it wants me to discard the humanityyy I know,
watch the warmth blow away.

So do you think I should adhere to that pressing new frontier?
And leave in my wake a trail of fear?
Or should I hold my head up high
and throw a wrench in spokes by
leaving the air behind me clearrr?

So don't let the world bring you downnn.
Not everyone here is that ****** up and colddd.
Remember why you came and while you're aliveee
experience the warmth before you go.

...

The Saint

[Random thoughts & underlines from a book...]

Everyone who enters your life comes to you at precisely the time you most need to learn the lesson they've come to teach.

There are no coincidences - ever.

They'll get it when they're ready to get it. When the student is ready, the teacher appears.

You don't think like most people.
I know. That's because I see more than most people. And it's not because I'm better than anyone else - it's because I've been taught by the best
"If I have seen farther than others, it is because I have stood on the shoulders of giants." - Isaac Newton

So I've learned that it's better to risk and fail than to not risk at all.

Human beings are most alive when living in the unknown, for it's in this place where anything and everything is possible.

If figuring things out in my head was the way to find the answers I needed to create the extraordinary life I'd always wanted, then I'd have those answers by now.

But you must trust - after all, isn't it all about trust?
Trust that you and I have connected for a special reason. Trust that there's no better place for you to be than where you are now.

The very condition of the human being is one of imperfection, yet I've come to understand that we're actually perfect in our imperfection. If we didn't have our weaknesses, we'd have nothing to work on as we journeyed through life.

What you don't own about yourself owns you.

It takes tremendous internal strength to go into that darkness that keep us small in our lives. It takes great inner power to take a serious look at the way we're living and make the midcourse corrections that will set us back on track.

Teach your brain that change is good and keep blazing a path that no one else has walked, in terms of the way you show up as a person.

Your current reality is nothing more than a complete reflection of the lessons you most need to learn.

Every single thing that you hate about your life, every single thing that irritates you in your days, and every single thing that causes you stress is a very important teacher. The things that press your buttons offer your best clues about what needs to grow and evolve within you.
"Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves" - Carl Jung

You wouldn't be able to see the great quality of another person unless you knew that quality in yourself.

It's true. As a child, you were aware of all your gifts. You were innocent and pure. You were immensely creative and wildly passionate. Your imagination knew no boundaries and your dreams knew no limits. You trusted others and had faith in yourself. You didn't have this need we adults have: to have everything all figured out. You expressed your truest essence as a person without fear of reprisal, and you freely let your light shine. You lived totally in the moment and savored every simple gift that each of our lives brings to us on a regular basis. You loved snowflakes and spiders, singing and dreaming, a good hug and a steaming cup of hot chocolate. The world was abundant, a place of boundless possibilities, and a ready partner for your authentic success. But then something happened.
Well, to put it bluntly, you committed a crime. Actually, you committed the most serious crime any human being could commit.
You began to betray yourself. You disowned your true self in favor of buying into the beliefs of your tribe.
Society is your tribe. You see, you started to adopt other people's beliefs about the way the world works and the nature of your role within it.

"The deepest personal defeat suffered by human beings is constituted by the difference between what one was capable of becoming and what one has in fact become" - Ashley Montague

Who you are as a person speaks so loudly that I can't hear what you're saying.

"The level of thinking that got you to where you now are will not get you to where you dream of being" - Albert Einstein

Each one of us views the world through the lens of our personal context, which has been shaped by the unique experiences of our lives. And since no one on the planet has had exactly the same experiences, no one on the planet has the same personal experience of any given situation.

There is an order to the seemingly random events of our lives, although most of us never recognize this. All the dots in our lives are connected, and everything that happens to us happens for a reason.

The sad times improve us and lead us to the good, while the good times show us the fullness of our possibilities and offer us the blessings to be appreciated. And I also realized that nothing very good or very bad ever lasts for very long.

[Robin Sharma]

The Decision Factor.

Initiative & Leadership.

The ability to make a decision is seldom come. The problem arises when an individual is not decisive. Why is it hard for a person to give a simple "yes" or "no" answer? I've pondered that question numerous times. Yet, I have also in the past, been in situations where "maybe" was a sufficient answer. Probably because it is an easy way out or because I really didn't know what I've wanted.

But I have learned to give clear answers. The myth people have with decision is that they think it's permanent. Decision is not an indelible act. If something doesn't work, decide another route. Our minds have the tendency create all kinds of false pretenses. Be conscious to this and your self awareness.

But, is it worth it to endure trivial matters when a person is not decisive? Probably not. Try not to get upset and put yourself as the victim because repeated frustrations and disappointments are a reflection of misunderstandings and presumptions.

Remember to focus on the things that truly count in your life.

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions.

Lately, my integrity has been missing. Everyone loves to prove their superiority and social proof to gain admiration? [That soon will be short-lived if humility & being humble is not cultivated.] But how much power is in it to admit what we don't know instead of righteously thinking we know it all. Once we have the notion we know it all, we considerably limit our full-potential. Afterall, we are given 2 ears and one mouth - how else can we learn if we don't listen more than opening our mouths and blurting that which we 'think' we know? Take a viewpoint of not knowing and develop your curiosity. Work on developing your weaknesses IF you deeply want to improve & focus and wield your strengths so they may get sharper. Everyone loved him: his family, his teachers and his friends. But he did have one weakness.

Peter could never live in the moment. He had not learned to enjoy the process of life. When he was in school, he dreamed of being outside playing. When he was outside playing, he dreamed of his summer vacation. Peter constantly daydreamed, never taking the time to savor the special moments that filled his days. One morning, Peter was out walking in a forest near his home. Feeling tired, he decided to rest on a patch of grass and eventually dozed off. After only a few minutes of deep sleep, he heard someone calling his name. 'Peter! Peter!' came the shrill voice from above. As he slowly opened his eyes, he was startled to see a striking woman standing above him. She must have been over a hundred years old and her snow-white hair dangled well below her shoulders like a matted blanket of wool. In this woman's wrinkled hand was a magical little ball with a hole in the center and out of the hole dangled a long, golden thread.

'Peter', she said, 'this is the thread of your life. If you pull the thread just a bit, an hour will pass in seconds. If you pull with all your might, months - even years - will pass by in days.' Peter grew very excited at this discovery. 'I'd like to have it if I may?' he asked. The elderly woman quickly reached down and gave the ball with the magic thread to the young boy.

The next day, Peter was sitting in the classroom feeling restless and bored. Suddenly, he remembered his new toy. As he pulled a little bit of the golden thread, he quickly found himself at home, playing in his garden. Realizing the power of the magic thread, Peter soon grew tired of being a schoolboy and longed to be a teenager, with all the excitement that phase of life would bring. So again he pulled out the ball and pulled hard on the golden thread.

Suddenly, he was a teenager with a very pretty young girlfriend named Elise. But Peter still wasn't content. He had never learned to enjoy the moment and to explore the simple wonders of every stage of his life. Instead, he dreamed of being an adult. So again he pulled on the thread and many years whizzed by in an instant. Now he found that he had been transformed into a middled-aged adult. Elise was now his wife and Peter was surrounded with a houseful of kids. But Peter also noticed something else. His once jet black hair had started to turn gray. And his once youthful mother whom he loved so dearly had grown old and frail. Yet Peter still could not live in the moment. He had never learned to 'live in the now'. So, once again he pulled on the magic thread and waited for the changes to appear.

Peter now found that he was a ninety-year old man. His thick dark hair had turned white as snow and his beautiful young wife Elise had also grown old and had passed away a few years earlier. His wonderful children had grown up and left home to lead lives of their own. For the first time in his entire life, Peter realized that he had not taken the time to embrace the wonders of living. He had never gone fishing with this kids or taken a moonlight stroll with Elise. He had never planted a garden or read those wonderful books his mother had loved to read. Instead, he had hurried through life, never resting to see all that was good along the way.

Peter became very sad at this discovery. He decided to go out to the forest where he used to walk as a boy to clear his head and warm his spirit. As he entered the forest, he noticed that the little saplings of his childhood had grown into mighty oaks. The forest itself had matured into a paradise of nature. He lay down on a small patch of grass and fell into a deep slumber. After only a minute, he heard someone calling out to him. 'Peter! Peter!' cried the voice. He looked up in astonishment to see that it was none other than the old woman who had given him the ball with the magic golden thread many years earlier.

'How have you enjoyed my special gift?' she asked.

Peter was direct in his reply.

'At first it was fun but now I hate it. My whole life has passed before my eyes without giving me a chance to enjoy it. Sure, there would have been sad times as well as great times but I haven't had the chance to experience either. I feel empty inside. I have missed the gift of living.'

'You are very ungrateful,' said the old woman. 'Still, I will give you one last wish.'

Peter thought for an instant and then answered hastily. 'I'd like to go back to being a schoolboy and live my life over again.' He then returned to this deep sleep.

Again he heard someone calling his name and opened his eyes. 'Who could it be this time?' he wondered. When he opened his eyes, he was absolutely delighted to see his mother standing over his bedside. She looked young, healthy and radiant. Peter realized that the strange woman of the forest had indeed granted his wish and he had returned to his former life.

'Hurry up Peter. You sleep too much. Your dreams will make you late for school if you don't get up right this minute,' his mother admonished. Needless to say, Peter dashed out of bed on this morning and began to live the way he had hoped. Peter went on to live a full life, one rich with many delights, joys and triumphs, but it all started when he stopped sacrificing the present for the future and began to live in the moment.

Unfortunately, the story of Peter and the Magic Thread is just that, a story, a fairy tale. We here in the real world will never get a second chance to live life to the fullest. Today is your chance to awaken to the gift of living - before it is too late. Time really does slip through your fingers like tiny grains of sand. Let this new day be the defining moment of your life, the day that you make the decision once and for all to focus on what is truly important to you. Make the decision to spend more time with those who make your life meaningful. Revere the special moments, revel in their power. Do the things that you have always wanted to do. Climb that mountain you have always wanted to climb or learn to play the trumpet. Dance in the rain or build a new business. Learn to love music, learn a new language and rekindle the delight of your childhood. Stop putting off your happiness for the sake of achievement. Instead, why not enjoy the process? Revive your spirit and start tending to your soul.

- The Monk who Sold his Ferrari
[I recommend you read this book if you have not already]

www.live2grow.com
www.fitnesstrainingmanual.com

Spark of Inspiration

There is a spark of inspiration that is igniting the fuse..

Day One of Excellence Seminar:

I walked in the room and saw a former colleague of mine from another seminar and soon afterwards I saw another and another.. it was great seeing them after such a long time. We sat down and talked and they all were doing great things with their lives. I initially came in the seminar thinking I could take this exact same one in couple months from now and with a close friend of mine.. but after a great first day of meeting new people and bonding with old friends I decided to stay in it.. I not only stayed, but I also became one of a few group leaders. I don't put much in the leader role because each one of these people in the past has either been my coach (1) or gave me sound advice (3) on various topics. And now that I am their "group leader"... it is really quite an honor. I knew what being a group leader entailed and wanted to test myself as well as help contribute to other people. I stepped it up. My group realized that and thanked me for stepping it up.. but they not only did that but were open minded enough to create possibilities and a space where they helped me to help them achieve their intended goals for this seminar session. I am going to step it up and keep each and every one of them accountable to their goals because that's what they expect of me and nothing less.

On a similar note, I began reading this book that was on my shelf for a bit, "The Last Lecture". Some of the stuff in it is really great! This quote relates to coaching & mentoring people. It explains of a football coach that is really hard on his students to get it right. Keep in mind that the students have no idea how to play football at all. This coach, coach Graham pushes these kids till failure and this one particular student to the point of exhaustion. When finally dismissed, the assistant coach runs up to the student and says "Coach Graham rode you pretty hard, didn't he?" and the student could barely muster out a "yeah". The assistant coach goes on to say, "That's a good thing... when you're screwing up and nobody says anything to you anymore, that means they've given up on you." [pg. 37]

That truly hit me and made me realize a lot. A true friend is someone who pushes you to be better than you are.. while we may perceive this differently, think about it. What is the meaning of a TRUE FRIEND?

Well to me it is:

- Someone who holds you to a higher standard

- Who expects you to do what you said you were going to do

- Someone who makes you better by their presence

Finding these qualities are priceless. They will help you achieve great things. Imagine if everyone around you held you to your word. What kind of empire would you build?

Finally, keep in mind this last quote from the same book which also rang true:

"That it is what it is. We can't change it. We just have to decide how we'll respond. It all start with imagining your future outcome. Once you have your subconscious mind in a place where you can see yourself living the desired outcome then it makes possible anything and everything. Many of us are constrained in life by our past experiences and as strange as it is our past lives in our future. You may be wondering how is that so, but try on the possibility that we live the life of a 5 year old. Have you ever been in a situation where in grade 1 your teacher asked you what one plus one is and you knew the answer. You get picked and you answer it incorrectly and you tell yourself from that day on that you will never put your hand up again no matter what. Fast forward. You have a full time job and your boss asks you if you have any ideas to improve the cost efficiency that could possibly save the company millions of dollars. You have a great idea but you don't raise your voice fearing that is may lead you to embarrassment. Your living the life of a 5 year old. Ever been in a situation where one thing is said and another thing is completely done? It does get frustrating when people don't do what they said they would do, but so is life. From experience and the ability to distinguish great people (by great I mean those that live by their word) from those that shy away from their word; would it not be invaluable to keep those that do what they say? I think so. Afterall, who you are is your word. People will not reach far if their self promises and their promises to other people are broken. Saying one thing and doing another thing could be disastrous in many circumstances, either relating to business, relationships with self and others, etc. Integrity is the building blocks that sustain our relationships with people and ourselves. Really take that in and live it. Make it your BluePrint for Success. As is what happens to most people day in and day out. I felt much of the same thing enveloping me and with limited way out. But then I realized all the training I received in the past and took one simple step... that step was ACTION. People can know all they want and constantly learn... I can relate, cause this person is myself. Without action, nothing will materialize. So I kept doing one simple step over and over again with an adverse affect every once in a while. But once you realize this small action is what needs to be done in that moment towards what you planned for... great things happen. "Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase. Just take the first step" [Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 1929-1968]. Knowledge is learning and knowing, but WISDOM is doing what you know. So after those small steps, something happened. My mindset changed, my outlook got better, I was more focused.... and also my business assets started growing. I was elated by the outcome I was receiving I picked up the phone and called my friend. After our conversation, I was filled with energy and ready to do more great things. Great things will arise! What is your BluePrint for Success?

Lesson: Take small steps everyday towards your end-result.

Hope you have a great day!

Pras

Living Powerfully

Your thoughts dictate your destiny

Standards:
- Propel you forward
- Make you reach higher
- Stretches your limits

Identify Your Standards
(Belief System) - You accepted it.

Because you own your beliefs, you can change them.

We are always looking for what's missing, Instead of focusing on what's in front of us.

Acknowledge the victories you have everyday (Success Log)

Change Your Language
change IF's to HOW's
change 'should' to 'MUST'
change 'have to' to 'CHOOSE TO'
Eliminate "TRY"

Lack of responsibility = Lack of Control

It's kind of like letting the flow of the stream dictate where you go, instead of swimming in the stream yourself.
(Only dead fish float down the stream)

We are not controlled by circumstances. This can be a tricky kind of a situation, when you don’t exactly know what changes you are going through metabolically. In such times, you need to be sure of your muscles that they are building up rightly and also required fat is being burnt out in the procedure too. Thankfully, there are supplements, which steer you through your muscle-building phase. Protein shakes are one of those supplements, which help a lot in the process. There are whey proteins to get your fat cut and amidst that build muscles too.

Protein shakes help by being a part of your regular diet and there can be even a case, when you can miss one of your meals. It can be easily inculcated in your diet schedule, thus helping you to grow well.

The Process: How Protein Shake Does It?
One might be thinking how can a shake help you so much? But, this shake assures that you eat high amounts of protein which is the only food of your muscles and mean while also retain little calories. It can act as a minimal calorie meal substitute and simultaneously contains extra protein than a t-bone.

You must now be speculating what are the elements that should be included to keep calories less and rich in protein. It saves a lot of time that can be invested in your gym working out. Fitness professionals recommend that consuming protein shakes prior to your workout would optimize your body’s protein usage. Even an intake of protein shake after your workout schedule would be equally helpful.

The edge over Solid Foods
The direct foods that we consume include meat, eggs and fish. These are generally more expensive and have a chance of having a lot of fats into it. Whereas comparing this with Protein shakes, you have less fat and carbohydrates to deal with inside the body. So it gives you the freedom to skip diet and have this only protein rich drink. Only carbohydrates rich food should not be ideal as it creates deficiencies at the receiving end, when you are working out.

So, protein shake is the ultimate solution between your regular diets and after your workouts. They should be cautiously included into diet and instead of full six diets in a day, try replacing one or two meals with a shakes.

The care in consuming Protein shake
But one thing to be taken care of is that you don’t overdo it. Anything in excess can be hazardous, so be careful when you replace this drink with your meals. That should not be devised into a habit and even you will be left with softer muscles.

Lean Muscles: Key To Development

Many of us face a situation, where they are laughed about in public because of their bony structure or even while considering a case where a person wants to develop his muscles because he is a fan of a superstar who has great muscles. But, wait before you plunge into hours of toll taking exercise, here are few keys that can help you smoothen your way and which will show instant results too.

Starting with what your body needs, it should have three prime constituents when your body decides working out.

The first and the foremost of them is protein.

More Protein- the only thing that makes a massive difference

More protein is required if you are expecting a quicker outcome. Our body muscles are only made up of proteins. So, if you are planning to exercise a lot, that means there is an ultimate requirement of protein. Don’t even think of growing your muscles, if you are not consuming enough of protein.

Surveys say that if a person wants to maintain his or her weight, one gram of protein should be utilized for equivalent pound of person’s weight. There is even more to it, once you plan building your skinny body. You will not only have to maintain your existing muscles, as it will undergo a wear and tear but also need to build new ones. This can only be possible, if you take protein rich diet and consume as much protein you can.

Next to come is Carbohydrates
When you think of Carbohydrates, it is those items which include sweets and rice. But, that is all simple sugar and that can hurt your process of muscle building.

What you should consume is complex form of Carbohydrates. Sweet potatoes and brown rice are its best examples. The reason complex carbohydrates should be consumed is, it’s really out of the question for them to convert into fat. This provides you more energy to work it out and obviously the least fat to be dealt with.

Finally it gets physical – Heavy Weight Exercise

After you are assured of your diet plan, the final and all-important step is heavy weight exercise. The biological touch to it shows that your body will work as much as you want it to be and thus if you stretch your muscles with these heavy machine exercises, it will retaliate and build muscles which will ease the task of your body next time when needed.

The scope does not just end here. You can go beyond it too. But initially, these three can be the building blocks of your muscle-growing schedule. They can lay you a slow but sure foundation for a rocking body so that next time when you are talked about in public, it should about your massy body. Keep working and be fit.

Lean Muscles: Use Supplements

What if you don’t know how to start your muscle building exercise and you go on exercising with your routine stuff. However a good diet is inevitable and don’t consider these as its replacement.

While choosing a Supplement
Almost necessarily, a good meal and a finely prepared exercise program would make sure that you are benefited by right amount of lean muscle and it would also assist you to lose mass. Once this gets sorted out, then you need to think of supplements like Niox that can be inculcated into your healthy routine for advancing lean muscle. There can be other supplements too that can be boosters but definitely you could not survive on them alone.

What people sometimes do is depend a lot on their supplements and not their regular diet, but the fact is that any sort of supplement that is used is only effective when it supports the well-balanced prescribed diet. It should not be lacking in nutrients and you should work out regularly according to your body structure and the diet too.

Mostly people are looking to grow lean mass that helps them out and inhibits the suffering from various kinds of deficits in the body. Unfortunately, even the smallest amount of nutritional deficiency could ruin plans of a person building up extra muscle mass than what they currently have. The diet is greatly processed to guarantee that it survives for a longer period over people who exhaust most of the vital nutrients, minerals and vitamins that our bodies actually require.

A word of caution
Remember, not every supplement is in fact similar and it is excellent that you have a glimpse in the surrounding to witness what is offered and investigate as much as you can to discover which are the best ones that suit to your exacting necessities. There are few supplements like Niox that have been exclusively planned for serving an individual to raise more muscles and present them the power to perform their workouts well. The entire use of Niox and other such products similar to it is to assist your body to generate added nitric acid.

All in all, supplements are boosters and should be used cautiously. Before buying it, labels should be properly studied and checked out for its compatibility with your body. Take them with care and it will help you compliment your body.

Lean Muscles: Factors That Help

Toning body muscles requires genuine devotion of time and tremendous efforts. Here are some of the important factors that help you in building body muscle rapidly.

1. Genetic Factor:
Genes play an important role because genetic disposition of parents are inherited into their respective children. That means, if parents are thin and have small body structure, their offspring’s would generally adopt the similar kind of built. However, this does not indicate that they cannot build good muscular body.

2. Metabolism, affecting body size :
Metabolism is a furnace that effectively burns fat and much more calories that you consume. Thus if you are not able to increase weight easily then we can say that metabolism is efficient.

3. Myth about, Universal exercise program for weight:
In reality, program like Universal training for weight do not exist. Body demands for each and every individual are unique and distinct. The finest way is to track programs, which are being tested on someone who is having same metabolic rate, body type etc. as ours. There are also some standard exercises for all people.

4. An important hint:
Rousing muscle growth is the basic aim of training program for weight. Resting after exercise is an important factor for building muscles. A body muscle does not develop while exercise, but it develops during rest.

5. Gaining Benefits from Workouts:
Compound exercise with many muscle movements is more advantageous compared to isolation exercises, which basically concentrate on some particular areas only. Hormones responsible for muscle development are also produced from stress by compound exercise.

6. Benefits of Free Weight Exercise:
Exercise with free weight will have good movement of body and thus more calories will be worn out resulting into good muscles development. Free weight exercise is always beneficial to the beginners.

7. Hard Working:
Hard working is important for gaining good muscles. Lifting similar weights always will not lead you to building muscles, so you need to increase weight lifting gradually. This will help you to excite muscle fiber, which leads towards good muscular development.

8. No Need of longer training sessions:
The catabolic hormone is responsible for breaking muscles fibers, which in turn is responsible for muscle repair along with rebuilding. But, if training sessions are longer, then catabolic hormones will break muscle fibers instead of repairing it. Appropriate duration for training is 60-75 minutes a day.

9. Aerobics:
Aerobics will help you to burn fat easily and faster but it’s only helpful if you take diet properly.

10. Dietary habits:
For muscle development, eating is very essential. Eat very often i.e. 3-6 times a day in small quantities, which means eating at every 2.5 hours a day. This will help you to digest food properly and gain adequate calories from the food.

Thus the above mentioned facts, if followed properly will surely help one to develop lean muscles.

Lean Muscles: Healthy Diet Can Help

Is intensive workout the sole criterion for gaining lean muscles? The answer is no. The work out routines should be well accompanied with a healthy nutritious diet. This is a proved fact, that it is impossible to get bulk of good lean muscle without a healthy diet. The storage of protein and other nutrients that you consume in your food provide the basic foundation for growth of desired thin muscle mass.

When you are looking forward for developing lean muscles, then you can follow the following guidelines.

Lean Meat: It contains good amount of protein. Speaking concisely, creatine is created in a normal human body by a natural process.

The purpose is to supply the energy required by the muscles to carry out proper functioning. After being generated in the liver, pancreas and kidneys, it is carried to the muscles by the blood. There it is transformed into phosphocreatine, which is a dominant metabolite required to revive the muscles' ATP source of energy.

Viewpoint of a bodybuilder
If we take a view of this from the point of view of a bodybuilder, lean muscle mass can be extensively enhanced by the effect of creatine, thereby making one’s performance better and improved in exercises involving high intensity, raising energy levels and accelerating the revival rates. The strong capability of creatine to enhance energy level in muscles lies in its act of synthesizing the muscle protein and simultaneously dropping the rate of the breakdown of protein. This occurs for the reason that creatine results in super-hydrating the cells present in muscles with water. It not only perks up the muscle growth, but also assist in adding bulk and potency to muscle fibers.

How to use?
By and large, creatine is consumed in two ways.

• In the first method, the muscles are loaded with 20 to 30 grams of creatine per day for four to seven days. After this period is over, a regular intake of 5 to 15 grams per day is carried out as a part of preservation.

• The second method gradually involves skipping out the loading period and simply supplementing with 5 to 15 grams per day for a comprehensive amount of time.

Safety of Use
Let’s try to find out an answer to the most often asked question here – Does it work expectedly and is it safe to use?

Creatine has unquestionably been verified valuable in recent years. As for a fact, over twenty scientific research works have accomplished that creatine can raise energy levels as well as result in improved potency, endurance levels and revival rates. If considered as a preparation aid, it has come out to be a winner. Not a single case has come in virtue claiming creatine to be unsafe, provided that manufacturers' instructions are followed strictly.

Positive Attitude: Building Confidence

How is this for a powerful statement? Attitudes are the emotional underpinnings of motivation. So, how do we utilize and tap into what this has to give when it comes to performance and excellence in life, personally, professionally, in all areas and aspects of the here and now and years to come?

Attitude, confidence, practice and aptitude are good companions to have on this journey we call life. How we perceive and judge what we see, experience and live through come together, synergize and combine to form our life attitudes (positive, negative, ambivalent, ever-changing, set in stone, it all depends).

Predisposition, affinity, approval, respect are all things that come to life through a positive attitude. Take interest and feel engaged, involved and hands-on with life is what it is all about.

We are needs-driven pretty much as human beings and the more we address these with a positive attitude the more lasting and quicker we will see change and not just for the sake of change, but real progress and substantial, significant altering, adjustments and accommodation. We want and have to understand, be in the loop, to decide, act, speak, contribute, creating a special sense of community, acceptance and belonging, recognition, looking for positive experiences that build and lift us up, tapping into and inspiring our enthusiasm. It is important to unearth and foster a sense of purpose and assess, track and celebrate progress to keep that positive attitude. To foster a positive attitude and build confidence as well as competence focus on things like constructive feedback.

- Emphasizing progress, seeing the positive in things
- External achievement, recognition and reward does not really motive as much, you’re your own performance standards
- Focus on competency building and mastery of skills
- Most importantly for self and others are to remain positive putting the real importance on things like what has been accomplished and achieved to date, how far to go, how to practically get there and remain self-motivated and self-managing for success. You will pick the fruits of your labor and dedication in the form or individual performance gains in no time. It will become like second nature to you, without much effort.
- Recognize rather all positive accomplishments, encourage yourself for more reflection and introspection, self-evaluation and self-correction.

Positive Attitude: Choosing Actively To Be Positive

According to some studies and interest groups, a positive attitude can add longevity and years to your life and health! Well, almost. Positive attitude delays ageing is a headline that most will recognize from some BBC reports back in 2004, that more recently surfaced again due to the focus that publications like The Secret and features, inserts on Oprah and some of the other talk-shows regarding thinking your way through life, claiming, positive affirmations and using the laws of attraction to bring you good fortune and happiness, fulfillment and all-round better quality of life has been toted and advocated, yet again, trendy and the newest fad once more. But, it is no secret that thinking and feeling positive, having an optimistic outlook and seeing the good and positive in things, life, people, even hardships can make a difference.

Imagine being able to suppress all negative thoughts, self-talk, critique and still those inner voices for just a minute, claim positive attitudes and will make you feel, look and do better, promoting more and effective functioning, success, results and so much more in and throughout your day, life, future? Who would not want to embrace being in control and able to influence that much of your destiny and well-being.

We all age and progress through life, having positive attitudes about getting older, might just help you cope better with the challenges, physically and mentally of getting on in your years. With the boomer generation getting ready to retire, there are many interested in at least methods or techniques that promises to delay the ageing process.

Upbeat, being less pessimistic, whining and dark, can have wonderful psychosocial effects, affecting even our physical health and well-being. Our thoughts, beliefs, self-talk, actions can all contribute to how quickly we age, look and approach life. Experiencing positive emotion and attitudes can have a great impact on the connection between mind and body . An initial study looked at the effects of things like the onset of frailty in the aging population, as measured and indicated by things like weight loss, exhaustion, walking speed and grip strength.

If you are happier, you might live longer! How often do we hear and jeer at statements of common wisdom like this. We dismiss too easily the ramifications it might have in actually holding some iota of truth! There is now researched proof that happy, positive attitudes, will-full and deliberate choice, intervention and adjusting, trading in negative thoughts for more positive type reflection, can actually alter the chemical balance of the body and in the brain. Success in life is no longer up to random chance. These positive, more optimistic thought patterns, actions and lifestyles, eventually almost ‘reprogram; us for success and will affect physical functioning health and wellbeing, boost immunity and help us keeping in touch and reaching out. Many argue that is what is behind so many elderly logging on, communicating, staying in touch, being the key driving force behind many of the social support networks initiatives around the globe and online communities, collaboration efforts etc.

Positive Attitude: How To Stay Positive

Attitude is everything these days, even pre-screening hiring and employment interview processes have assessments and scenarios built in to see how potential hires will handle, interact, problem-solve, what their attitude is, positive, negative, ambivalent, undecided, purposeful etc. in some Buddhist teachings the source of all happiness if by having a positive outlook on life If you are mainly positive, you are less likely to suffer or experience even hardship as negative, rather character building. Values like empathy, compassion and gratitude come from a place where you feel you can freely give, share, acknowledge and so on. You too can be happier, more resilient, and less depressed.

The latest self-help craze, fad, can be summarized as waking up, going to work expecting the best, something positive and in all likelihood it will happen. When it comes to the literal root meaning and etymology of the word, It claws back to the French, from Italian attitudine, from Late Latin aptit d , aptit din-, faculty ; see aptitude, hinting to frame of mind affecting one's thoughts or behavior: outlook, position, posture, stance. Having a good or positive attitude could mean that the following are present in your thoughts, words, action, outlook on life, what others might say of you, or how you would characterize yourself if asked about it:

- amiability
- benevolence
- confidence
- consideration
- gallantry
- gravity
- modesty

Versus the flip-side of the coin and negative attitude which would involve things like:

- arrogance
- condescension
- cruelty
- cynic
- detachment
- impudence
- malevolence
- snob

When these aspects and qualities are compared, contrasted and positioned in this fashion, it is easy to see how positive attitude will be more enabling and negative attitude more destructive potentially. There is always of course neutrality and/or ambivalence which is another kettle of fish entirely and representative of what many of us experience as our own self-discovery continues. Whether you read into this your state of mind, manner of carrying yourself, a disposition, orientation, opinion, towards something, somebody or an event, mental training, self-hypnosis, positive mantras and affirmations, motivational self-help type advice abounds in the marketplace, to get you started on this path. It all starts with getting out of bed and being deliberately more positive it seems to attract the best and positive things in life towards you, into reality and enjoy the fruits of your labor. (at least according to Oprah and the author of The Secret).

Positive Attitude: Tips For Success

Here are some great ways to practically get, be and keep a positive attitude and what it can do for you in your life and future:

- Accept yourself and share with other thoughts and actions, borne of deep inner peace and tranquility, self-confidence and positive attitude – see the day, lives and future change right before your eyes.
- Avoid all forms of negative judgmental self critique, back talk, self-chatter that is self-defeating.(what some call our inner critic or conscience).
- Communication and the ability to express what you want, say, think, feel is paramount. Maybe this job opportunity you desperately wanted? Or a call from the person you had been thinking of for a while? Or even a chance meeting on street with the perfect client or partner? We use various methods to describe these events. Serendipity, coincidence, Fate, karma, the advantages of being in the right place at the right time, call it what you will. All these expressions describe the result of what is generally known as the laws of attraction, commonly known as a New Age theory and the very basis of today’s mantra- “Positive thinking”. According to this you acquire whatever you concentrate your energy, thoughts and feelings on, positive and negative alike. A kind of self-fulfilling prophecy, it acts like a request to the universe at large and conveys what you desire most. It is like a magical mantra which will get you whatever you want, provided that you understand how this law works and utilize it to your advantage.

A very powerful mantra, the law of attraction can also affect your future adversely if you are not careful. The first step would be to be conscious of what you say.

Translating our thoughts into statements is a powerful action and directly affects our “Fate”. Our statements convey not only our fears and intentions but also the vibes we exude. People often misinterpret understating their hopes/ or even self-worth to be modesty.

Sometimes it’s even done to mislead the other party but by doing this; you only succeed in alienating your own good fortune. For instance- positive statements like- “I love the way my reputation attracts clients to me” or “I love the way money comes to me effortlessly in expected and unexpected ways”, increases your chances of success in such cases due to the positive energy that you attract.

Failure too, is a result of such declarative statements.

The law of attraction also responds to negative declarative statements like- "I take one- step forward and two-steps back”, and gives us more of them. So every time you make a negative statement, check the tendency. Simply rephrase it into something positive and promising that makes you feel better. Try this- ask yourself, “What do I want?” The moment you define what you want, you start experiencing a new mood. You seem more capable and powerful. Life will change for the better and these positive changes will become more frequent and evident. This is because you have set those universal forces in motion which determine your fate, based on your action. Recall the mood or feeling that could have lead to this. Soon you will be able to manifest more positive events and less of the unwanted ones, by using the law of attraction to your benefit.

People therefore have direct control over reality and their lives through thought alone. The trick is to be proactive.

The Law of Attraction Semantics

What is the use of a life that doesn’t grant you happiness? Living life to the fullest is all about living a happy life, a content life, a life where you are at peace with your own personal truth. The greater the acceptance of truth on your part, the more the chance for you to experience happiness and thereby attract positive things to yourself.

Your personal belief and your personal truth are two very different concepts and you’d be best advised to not confuse one with the other. Your beliefs are ideas you have learnt from the variety of experiences you have had in your lifetime. Whereas your personal truth is something that has always existed, even before you learnt to acknowledge it.

Life is about fulfilling desires. Attracting things we desire brings us immense pleasure and pleasure is the key route to happiness. If you are yet to find happiness you probably know that it will come to you only when you manage to acquire what you desire. There is an incredible power equation between our capacity to attract and our need to be happy, as you will no doubt learn soon, neither is of value without the other.

If you have fulfilled your desire then you have probably also found your way to happiness. You have probably already realized how incredibly powerful the Law of Attraction is and how it can help you forget all your worries and achieve anything you want from life.

Before discussing further about this extraordinary potential of the Laws of Attraction let us take a brief look at a few words commonly used in this Rule of Attraction process.

Man has always been fond of inventing a number of ways of saying the same things. Thus even for a mundane enough situations as using a common salutation he has a variety of words. ‘Hi’, ‘hello’, ‘Wassup’, ‘how are you’ are various forms of the same salutation customarily used when one person meets another, and yet all of them are technically ‘different’ expressions. This variety is not unique to the English language alone almost all languages all over the world have a range of words meaning exactly the same thing.

Similarly, universal laws too can be expressed in a variety of ways but they will ultimately always mean the exact same thing. Take gravity for instance; all of us have our own way of defining gravity, some of us call it a ‘force’ others refer to it as a ‘downward pull’ but of course we all mean the same thing. The words we choose to express a certain idea is our own and therefore based on our personal choice regarding the structure of a sentence etc. But no matter how we express a certain idea its inherent facts always remain the same.

Semantics is an extremely important part of the Law of Attraction since it is among one of the most significant socio-spiritual laws in the universe. Like everything else people have a variety of ways of describing all spiritual experiences as well. Much like the Gravitational law the Laws of Attraction too may be described in a variety of ways, but no matter how you choose to describe it it will continue to function in the same manner. We all have different names for God but ultimately the almighty is one and the same. Hence, while dealing with the Laws of Attraction and in almost every other aspect of life you’d be more likely to grasp a certain situation better only if you get past its basic semantic sense. Instead, concentrate on the inner meaning of a certain expression since that and only that will reveal to you what a certain speaker is trying to convey to you.

Communication lies at the heart of relationships so don’t ignore it.

Once you brace up to this basic fact ask yourself a few relevant questions. Begin by asking yourself about the exact means by which you are attracting this particular condition or thing. Do you really want to be attracting it?

What kind of changes will this particular object/situation of desire bring about in your social, spiritual and personal life? What is keeping you from achieving this particular object/situation right at this moment? Are your personal beliefs holding you back? How serious are you about seeing this dream through to its completion level?

Are you approaching the present situation from a positive angle? How far are you willing to go to satisfy your want? What do you expect out of your desire?

What will keep you motivated enough to persevere and ultimately achieve it? Answering all these questions honestly lies at the heart of fulfilling your desires in the manner you want.

The Law of Attraction: Think Positive

You must have heard about the Laws of Attraction. It is a new concept that has become the center of a lot of attention. There are some important facts missing in the way the Law is being publicized.

In order to understand these laws completely, you have to get a lot of information on it. there are certain things that you need to be well versed with before you can be confident about being well informed about the Laws of Attraction.

You may have heard that the key to the Laws of Attraction is positive thinking. This is somewhat true. However, there is a lot more to this theory than just positive thinking.

You must remember that your inner self is a very important part of your universe. for example, if you ask for a lot of wealth so that you will be able to help people.

Then, once the universe answers you and you end up getting a lot of wealth, you get carried away with it. you immerse yourself in all your riches and do not keep the promise that you made. This will result in the transference of your wealth to another being. This is the result in most cases.

Thus, you must remember that the external world is a manifestation of your inner self. If you concentrate on hoarding and do not develop your inner self, the universe will cease to respond to your calls. The first thing that you should do is to hone your inner being.

Remember that whatever you have will become amplified. If you are a greedy person, the greed will grow. On the other hand, if you are energetic and your soul is wealthy, the wealth will get amplified. Stop blaming the world around you. Do not try to curse your surroundings and blame the world around you. Start with changing yourself and correcting yourself.

There are certain basic laws that are in control of your world. There are certain forces that are somewhat under human control, for example, electricity. However, there are certain fixed forces like friction and gravity that are beyond human control. If you are well versed with these forces, you will be in a position of great advantage and will be able to use these laws to the best of your circumstances. However, these laws are so powerful that you can never master them completely.

The Law of Attraction is a law that helps you make your life better if you understand it to some extent. You are the master of your being and you can play a great role in the shaping up of your reality. Do not try to take the easy way and plunge into anything before fully comprehending it. Try to develop yourself and then change the way the world looks at you and the way it treats you.

If you are under the impression that using the Laws of Attraction will miraculously change your life overnight, you are quite mistaken. It definitely has the power to influence your life, but only if you know how to use it. Try to come to terms with yourself. If you are not satisfied with what you are, it will definitely take a lot of time to help yourself. You have to understand yourself, accept yourself and then try to improve your world. It might take time, but you will eventually realize that developing your inner self render your world beautiful.

The Law of Attraction: Does It Work?

If you are one of the people who are quite worried because the Law of Attraction doesn’t work for them and have simply given up on the practice, don’t lose heart.

The movie “The Secret” is an excellent representation of the law of attraction. However, many often misinterpret the movie. This misinterpretation is basically centered upon the idea that the thoughts are generating reality.

You must comprehend that it is not the thoughts themselves that make the things happen. It is the energy evolved through these thoughts that make this law work.

How effective your prayers will be is directly dependent on the amount of energy that you are able to generate by virtue of your thoughts. In fact, the amount of energy that will be generated also depends upon the amount of emotional energy that you invest in the thoughts.

Another thing that you must remember is that negative thoughts can have an adverse effect on the manifestation of your desires. This happens because the positive thoughts generate positive energy and result in the fulfillment of your desires. Since the amount of energy generated depends upon the amount of positive thoughts, negative thoughts have a negative effect and decrease the energy that is going to give shape to your desires. The negative energy cancels out the effect of the positive. Thus, when you ask for something, always do so with a frame of mind that is positive.

The more you concentrate upon your desires and think about your wish coming true, the more positive vibrations are sent to the cosmos. Try to keep that positive frame of mind consistently. In fact, if you see that negative thoughts are coming into the sphere of your thoughts then make a conscious attempt to erase them. Have faith in yourself and the universe. Try to evade doubt and you will surely get what you are yearning for.

Every day, keep some time to meditate on your desires. Select a time when you will not be disturbed by anybody and concentrate on the fulfillment of your desire. For example, if you want a great car, imagine yourself driving the car of your dreams. Put all the forces of your imagination at work and visualize your dream.

Apart from the time that you spend concentrating on the desire, remember that you must not think about whether you will achieve the goal or not. As we have told you earlier, just by bringing in doubt you can undo the wonderful effects of your concentration. The negative energy has the potential to cancel out everything. So never let doubt seep into your mind. one of the best things is to begin with a desire that is not one of your immediate needs. For example, try to begin with something that will be great if you got it but is not indispensable. This is because you tend to have more doubt about the things you desperately require. If you are in great need of money, you will inevitably think about what will happen if your desires fail. This is the kind of doubt that often undoes the great work.

Thus, it is good to begin with the smaller desires. Once you are successful in achieving these little things it will give your faith a boost and improve the power of your concentration. This will enable you to focus on the bigger and more difficult things with ease later on.

Remember that the laws of desire are strange, if you can put in enough positive energy and faith, they can come true immediately. Have the faith and try to put in all the positive vibes you can gather. The results will definitely be great!

Positive Attitude: Just Another Way Of Thinking?

Most attitudes begin with a feeling or emotion toward something. A deliberate act, conscious and un/sub-consciously we live based on these. Some sources define it as A frame of mind in favor of or opposed to a person, policy, belief, institution, determining where you stand, how you orient yourself to life, environment, self, others. So where are you on this scale? Are you positive, negative, somewhere in-between?

So a positive attitude then might be more than a mere complex mental state involving beliefs and feelings, values and dispositions to think, speak and act in certain ways.

Biomedical research shows clear links here between our thoughts, cognitive minds, bodies – we are a holistic, self-managing being and interactive system. There are many correlations, studies and findings that suggest, the more positive, happier we are, the less likely we are to get really ill, sick or diseased. The mind-body connection is real and if we take more of an optimistic outlook we can improve more than just mental health, also our physical well-being.

There are definite evidence that suggest that we can surely attribute positive thinking and attitudes to an improved physical state or put differently if there are high levels of psychological well-being present it can and will benefit physical health.

Higher levels of well-being type patients, have lower cardiovascular risk, lower levels of stress hormones and lower levels of inflammation, all evidence that the immune system is operational, functioning optimally. So why and how come we are not positive all the time, most of the time, at all? Maybe because we do not quite yet understand how to harness it at all, let alone fully to optimize our potential and capacity as human beings.

What and how we think, every day, can really shape and impact all of our life, both personally and professionally, in all areas of our daily living.
What we say to ourselves and others, will eventually over time reveal a patterned behavior in us, that will affect the processes, interactions, exchanges and dynamics of our everyday. Even and specifically when it comes to how we cope and handle life, stress, conflict, daily living, setbacks, and more. WE have a lot of negative impact, thoughts and messages in our minds that affect how and what we do, behave, say and act upon. Hormonal fluctuations, emotions, our physical health can all attest to these facts and linkages. Sleeping enough, replenishing the body when it needs it most, maintain, replace energy resources, boosting our immune system effectiveness, mental and emotional clarity and overall quality of life is possible with powerful, positive affirmations of all kinds. Slow down sometimes, prepare well, relieve stress, de-clutter and simplify, wind down, surround yourself with the beauties and pleasures of life and developing a positive attitude is now within easy reach. It is a multi-billion dollar self-help industry that keeps on growing as we want to embrace the fact more and more that we are in control somewhat of what happens and occurs in and through our own lives.

Listen and be aware of what your thoughts are, positive or negative and replace negative with positive thoughts for a week and see what happens. Write them down if you find it hard to do and then read them later on.

Positive Attitude: What Can It Do For You?

Once and for all, you can change negative self-fulfilling prophesies and negative self-talk, setting yourself up to fail. You can actively, deliberately do a 180 degree turn and start thinking in a positive manner about yourself and your life, your future. You can be happy and successful, experience life to its fullest. Actively make better, more positive choices, choose your process and outcome and be more in control, not a victim of circumstance.

Happiness over sadness, smiles over tears, do not deny yourself emotions and upset, just put a different spin and light (perspective) on it and you will see life, outlook, prospects, mood change. Find the silver lining in every dark cloud and you will start seeing things you never would have otherwise.

Be, get and stay optimistic and positive despite what might be challenging and getting you under right this very minute. Take a longer view, futuristic and forward-focused. Be good-humored, patient and look for what life and tomorrow has to offer for you. Dismiss worries and stress, negative thinking and ban worry from your life. Ensure that you surround you with others who are positive also, be inspiring, affirm to yourself happiness, health, powerful positive mantras that motivate and let you reach higher, believe in yourself, embrace potential, promise and opportunity. That is the nature and scope of a positive attitude! Dare to speak into reality what you wish for to be, master your thinking and wayward mind, concentrate, focus and reflect on things more often, at every opportunity and you might surprised how different things might be in the morning!

The benefits of a positive attitude abound, stretching deep, reaching high, far and wide, for a variety of things in life. There are many faces, guises and ways that it will manifest itself in both your personal and professional life. If you have positive attitude you and others will recognize:

- An innate and undeniable ability to inspire and motivate self and others.
- Confidence and self-belief
- Goal achievement
- Happy and energetic, more life-force, driven and determined, more stamina, endurance and perseverance, greater inner power and strength.
- Success faster, readily, easily, without much hassle – seemingly seamless and almost effortless, by default
- Less hurdles, obstacles and difficulty to overcome on life’s path
- Overcoming trouble and problems easily, finding solutions quickly, almost on demand
- More open-minded and welcoming
- Gaining respect for self, by others
- Positive attitude believes you can, say yes, negative attitude just the opposite!
